Picture Compemetition

December 12th, 2007

Hello Boys and girls, I have a challenge for you…

I inexplicably and for no reason made this picture this morning at work:

Beans Street
Now I know you’re thinking that that is the best damned thing you’ve seen for ages, but you’d be wrong, clearly. So there.

What I would like you eager pups out there to do is to take this image, and do something with it, add to it, scribble on it, whatever you like. All completed entries should be emailled to me via compemetition@kevil.co.uk by pm Friday, and i’ll put them all in a handy, snack-sized, gallery for you all to enjoy. There may even be a prize!
For the full size file, click here for the jpg, and here for the full png file (6Mb).

Now get cracking!

I have submitted a slice of imagery to your image-hungry email address.

I hope the prize is a massive luxury yacht! I’ve always wanted one of those.

We don’t have paint on the computers at work because the NUH-AT-ZEES have taken it off 🙁 I’m not sure if I’ll be able to submit unless I print it off and bring it with me on Friday when I visit.

Manual entries are also acceptable. Are you coming tomorrow?

  • 4. Chris  |  December 13th, 2007 at 11:00

A visit? A visit? A visit? I too am in the vicinity of Leeds this weekend, but I have no spare evenings. Arsecandles.

  • 5. Ian Mac Mac Mac Mac McIver  |  December 13th, 2007 at 12:12

    No spare evenings is gash.

Yes I’m coming tomorrow arriving at Leeds station around 4pm. Is there any chance I can meet up with you on Saturday morning?

  • 6. Kevil  |  December 13th, 2007 at 12:20

Are you free friday night for some beefy joy?

  • 7. Ian Mac Mac Mac Mac McIver  |  December 13th, 2007 at 12:24

I might be but I also might be drinking with past fellow co-workers in a healthy and communal environment. I shall have to get back to you regarding that one.

  • 8. Chris  |  December 13th, 2007 at 12:47

Saturday morning is tricky as I only arrive in Leeds at 3pm. Arsecakes.

  • 9. Ian Mac Mac Mac Mac McIver  |  December 13th, 2007 at 16:54

So you don’t have any time on Saturday then? I could try and dash off in the evening. Kevs at his work do but once Reuben’s asleep I shall be fancy free (in a heterosexual way of course).

watch out for the chinchillas. and don’t bring one home.

  • 11. Chris  |  December 13th, 2007 at 23:39

Saturday is all booked up, Monday and Tuesday are all gone and so forth. Sunday night we’re also busy but we could do something in the daytime, maybe an hour or two going for a stroll and taking tea on glorious Main Street. I think Friya would like to meet Reuben if he doesn’t mind being paraded in front of strange women. (Strange as in unfamiliar, not… yeah.)

  • 12. Ian Mac Mac Mac Mac McIver  |  December 14th, 2007 at 08:59

Perhaps, we’re supposed to be having a meal on the Sunday at 12pm for my dad’s (early) birthday but before then we could have a few hijinks early style.

That’s if you don’t mind being up when the cows crow and the sheep lament…

  • 13. Ian Mac Mac Mac Mac McIver  |  December 14th, 2007 at 09:00

    FRIYA!

    (that’s a little song I wrote)

    CHINCHILLAS!

(Audrey doesn’t like them, even though I do protest)

  • 14. Chris  |  December 14th, 2007 at 22:51

CHINCHILLAS are brilliant, especially when numbered instead of being named.

I think we’ll be up when the crow craps and the sheep have a shave. There are young ‘uns in our household too and it’s hard to get up late. I’ll drop you some sort of thing on Sunday morning and see what’s kicking off. Maybe we can take tea somewhere delightful.

I suggest you get Reuben to sing your song to my ladyfriend.

You dropped it, I caught it and then we drank hot water with taste and destroyed a plane.

Even Friya did. Don’t deny it! I have photographic evidence 😛

  • 16. Chris  |  December 19th, 2007 at 20:34

That’s PRECISELY what happened, and you and your son shared a tunnel. Oh yeah.

  • 17. Chris  |  December 21st, 2007 at 11:01

WHERE ARE OUR COMPETITION ENTRIES, KEV?

  • 18. Ian Mac Mac Mac Mac McIver  |  December 21st, 2007 at 11:58

    *sings*

    Sharing tunnels is great
    With frieeeeee-eeee-eeeends and fam-ah-leee!
    Digging with spades and trowels
To feel good from hoooooooooole prosp-er-it-eee!

  • 19. Chris  |  December 22nd, 2007 at 08:04

That would make a lovely interlude track on an album. Or in some albumen.

  • 20. Ian Mac Mac Mac Mac McIver  |  December 24th, 2007 at 07:04

One of those would make my Christmas… or whatever time of the year it was. Probably summer knowing me.

  • 21. Chris  |  December 24th, 2007 at 10:31

Yes, as a song it’s very HOLE-some!!! Ha! Ha! Ha! …yeah.

  • 22. Ian Mac Mac Mac Mac McIver  |  December 26th, 2007 at 13:42

I would thrust in your general direction but time and distance warrant another approach. Therefore this approach is forthcoming in its direction and its approach. In other words, at least what I’m striving at generally, to borrow someone else’s words, you stink.
