Zorses
August 17th, 2007
Yes! It’s a lovely zorse, with a weird woman on top.
I don’t really have anything more to say in this post, and its purpose was basically just to bring to your attention the vital information that zorses do exist, and that they are hybrids made when a male zebra gets jiggy with a lady horse. (If it’s the other way round, with a stallion makin’ whuppee with a zebrette, you get a hebra.)
I will now leave you with a little Zorse gallery.

I’d also like to draw you attention to this wonderful webpage:

Is the lady on top of the zorse trying to be a “zuman”?? I am confused.

I hope we live in a world where zumans and zorses can live together in harmony. Just because she’s sat on the top of one doesn’t mean anything. She could’ve smacked him upside the head once the cameras had disappeared.

I am actually quite frightened at the thought that this woman clearly gets her rocks off by riding zorses, bareback, in rubber trousers.
Stupid zumans. It’s a crime against nature!

This whole posting disturbs me slightly. Every time I open the Beans I see that horrible zuman woman gurning at me.
6. Ian Mac Mac Mac Mac McIver | August 20th, 2007 at 13:32
I know, someone should post something else, someething sweeter, to get rid of her.
Plus I also like the fact that you referred to the website as ‘the Beans’ 😀
7. Chris | August 20th, 2007 at 13:41
Then post! Post away! Sometimes I feel like I’m the only one keeping this whole ship afloat.
(I also applaud the use of “The Beans” to refer to this site.)

Yeah man I was on the beans the other night and I was checking out some diggety shit when I realised I couldn’t get any higher than the beans and that all them that try, sheesh, what a waste of time.
Safe.

Indeed, and also ‘word’.

*shuffles*
So… erm, are we street yet?
11. Chris | August 22nd, 2007 at 11:49
I think we will be ‘street’ as of 17.05 this evening.
Or at least that’s what the man said. I paid him a tenner to make us hip and that’s when he said it would kick in. Then he ran away.
12. Ian Mac Mac Mac Mac McIver | August 24th, 2007 at 09:02
So by it being today that means we’re street, right? If we’re not I’ll be very upset.
Being upset is street, right?
13. Chris | August 24th, 2007 at 10:14
Being upset is quite street, but it depends on how you do it. Like, crying isn’t street at all, but if you’re kicking a can in the gutter with your hands in your pockets, looking all moody and mean, and probably chewing a toothpick, then that’s cool apples.
14. Ian Mac Mac Mac Mac McIver | August 24th, 2007 at 12:57
Yeah… that’s definitely what I’ll be doing. And it’ll be a can of canned apples. But those apples will be manky and old, because they won’t be the kinds of apples I’d want to eat.
Yeah.

That woman looks like an 80s pr0n star .. not that I know what they look like 😛
16. Ian Mac Mac Mac Mac McIver | August 26th, 2007 at 12:21
No of course not Liz. You’re too busy watching dwarf porn aren’t you? 😛
17. GiGi | May 27th, 2009 at 21:45

This sure looks our Zorse Zandy – we bought her last Summer. she is sweet, loving and is definately chosen my daughter as her “person”. i dont who the Zebre womans is – not who we bought her from..
21. Ian "Mac Mac Mac Mac" McIver | November 15th, 2009 at 23:00
Are you claiming ownership of the zorse in the picture? 🙂
22. mom! | April 24th, 2010 at 02:51
after closer look no… our isnt as thick. she is the same coloring and stripes but not the same., Our Zorse Zandy is so very sweet, and has found her bonded “person” – NOT the wman in pic….
23. mom! | July 8th, 2010 at 10:18
a year into having Zan and would LOve input from other Zorse owners – she is very afraid of needles – and i think needs her teeth done.. but….. she wont let the vet near her – ideas?
is fine with the ferrrier as long as My daughter or I am there. and seems to have a huge “Flight” issue if frightened. We took her to a show, she did well , but, mid way, something scared her and she ran out of the arena – i stopped her at the entry, and she burried her head in my chest and shuddered – BOTH Zan amd my Daughter were upset > what to do?
24. Stacy | March 13th, 2011 at 23:38
To Zandy’s people…I used to own her–zebras and zorses are hugely feraful of needles–but they also don’t need vaccines in the way horses do. It will help if you can find a vet who has worked with zebras before…otherwise they don’t truly understand a zorse. As far as Zandy’s spooking in an arena–my suggestion is that you find a licensed Parelli instructor to take some lessons with as Zandy was trained with Parelli for all of her life.

You lot do realise that this isn’t some sort of International Zorse Resource Don’t you?
26. Ian "Mac Mac Mac Mac" McIver | March 22nd, 2011 at 12:52
Now hang on Kev, let’s not chase away our main demographic.
27. Kevil | March 31st, 2011 at 10:52
I thought You were our main demographic these days!
28. Ian "Mac Mac Mac Mac" McIver | April 1st, 2011 at 11:59
Well I am but I’ve been told to tone down the “outrageous” nature of my posts for fear of scaring away humans. I haven’t said a CRAZY thing for AGES.
29. Zorseman | November 17th, 2011 at 19:22
I wouldn’t worry too much about the needle issue really. I have zorses and zonkeys and I’ve had issues a few times with needles. My suggestion is find another vet if yours can’t handle the job. As far as being skittish, just keep showing her new things and she will calm down, hopefully.

If you decide to get rid of her, let me know.
